Full-time, permanent, benefited position:
  • Onsite in Tomah, WI
  • Day Shift
  • 7am – 3:30pm; M-F
  • Weekend/holiday on call rotation
- 1 in 4 weekends covering call from 8am – 12pm - On Call is paid @ $4.50 per hour - Call in time is paid @ $3.00 more per hour and time and a half

Primary responsibilities for:

  • Inpatient Occupational Therapy on Acute Care (25-30 hrs./wk.) and;
  • Outpatient Occupational Therapy (10-15 hrs./wk.)

RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB FUNCTIONS:

The Occupational Therapist will evaluate, assess, treat, and plan for consumers (inpatients, outpatients, industry, families and staff) with impaired functional ability caused by physical illness or injury, congenital or developmental disability, emotional disorder or age specific process, in order to achieve optimum functioning and to enhance health. This person may be caring for children, adolescents, adults and/or senior patients and will have the knowledge and skills to care for the patient and developmental needs of these populations.

  • Provides direct patient care, evaluates functional needs and outcomes, and consults with other specialists as needed. Reassesses patient’s functional needs and adjusts care plan as indicated to ensure optimal patient outcome.
  • Performs comprehensive patient evaluation, including tests of functional ability, including functional job analysis, functional capacity evaluation and pre-work screenings/pre-work screen development as applicable or required.
  • Conducts therapy practice within defined standards of care and consistent with current OT practice.
  • Performs instruction of patient, family, staff, student or intern with consideration to physical/developmental age, ability/readiness to learn, cultural/emotional religious/social barriers. Uses diagrams and/or handouts as necessary to facilitate the learning process.
  • Delivers age specific care to pediatric and geriatric clientele dependent on their growth, development and mental age/capacity. Responds appropriately to physically and mentally challenged clientele.• Provides on-site services to business and industry including consultation with individual employees about pain and dysfunction as well as inservice/wellness/injury prevention education in accordance with applicable policies and guidelines.
  • Directs the practice of support staff in order to achieve the patient’s functional goals.
  • Communicates effectively with other professional and support staff in order to achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Promotes and contributes to a positive, problem-solving environment.
  • Maintains established hospital and departmental policies and guidelines, objectives, quality improvement program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
  • Documents evaluations, treatment goals and plans. Regularly updates documentation and maintains all required prescriptions and signatures.
  • Enhances professional growth and development of self and others through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and workshops.
  • Provides direction and leadership to staff, students and new graduates. Acts as a resource to promote occupational therapy within the community.
  • Maintains a professional attitude and observes proper ethics.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in regards to the computer documentation if patient cares and any other related computerized patient information/documentation.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy accredited program.
  • National and state certification required.
  • Current licensure to permit to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Previous experience in related areas of practice preferred.
  • Two years of experience as a staff therapist desirable.

  • Must acquire the knowledge and maintain established competency levels to perform essential occupational therapy practice.

  SUMMARY: The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is part of the primary care treatment team. Impekkable/HealthTech is looking for a seasoned Hospital Collector | Claims & Denials Specialist to join our team and support our managed hospitals. • 100% Remote, Permanent, Full-time • Must have hospital complex claims and denials experience • ZERO micro-management – Must be able to work independently and stay on task SUMMARY: This role is responsible for capturing reimbursement for hospital billed claims and denials that are a zero balance. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of hospital insurance collections/claims/denials experience and possess a strong knowledge of Commercial, Third-Party Insurance Accounts, including but not limited to Medicaid, Managed Care, and Other Government payors. They must also have an in-depth understanding of payor contracts to include rules and guidelines governing payor collection activities and be able to “work” accounts in a computerized automated environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Researching and analyzing accounts for assigned clients and payers to diagnose reasons for underpayment/non-payment of claims that have gone to zero balance • Evaluating appropriate actions needed for correcting the account. • Maintaining track of all identified issues and errors. • Identifying, reviewing, and interpreting third-party payments, adjustments, and denials. • Facilitating first and second-level appeals to payers. • Recommending changes to revenue collection based on analysis of recovery trends. • Negotiating with third party payers to recover funds for grossly underpaid claims. • Validate denial reason and ensure coding is accurate and reflects denial reasons for accounts that are under or partially paid and written of to a zero balance. • Exhibit expertise in billing. Generating rebills and corrected claims for additional reimbursement. • Responsible for correcting, completing, and processing claims for all payer codes where additional reimbursement is identified. • Analyze and interpret that claims are accurately sent to insurance companies for additional reimbursement. • Perform follow up with Medicare, Medicaid, Medicaid Managed Care, and Commercial insurance companies on unpaid insurance accounts • Process appeals online or via payer portal or fax. • Generate an appeal based on the dispute reason and contract terms specific to the payor. This includes online reconsideration. • Follow specific payor guidelines for appeal submission. • Research contract terms/ interpretation and compile necessary supporting documentation for appeals and reconsiderations. • Ensure proper account documentation, which is clear, concise, and includes all pertinent information. • Understand and apply the terms of client’s contracts. • Escalate immediate and appropriate payor trends and issues to management which impact cash, aging, and processes. • Maintain or exceed 95% of established productivity goals and quality standards (30 to 50 accounts). • Utilize company software in all account follow-up activities and promote working toward paperless environment. • Ensure professional verbal and written communication with facilities, clients, and co-workers following established guidelines. • Obtain management approval when necessary to communicate with external clients about internal processes and procedures. • Follow and maintain patient, account, and client confidentiality always. • Adhere to HIPAA and Compliance Policy Guidelines. • Follow timekeeping and attendance policy daily.   SUMMARY The CT & X-Ray Technologist is responsible for a wide variety of professional technical imaging procedures and obtaining diagnostic medical radiologic images in compliance with State and Federal regulations and accepted standards of care.
  • Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic radiologic examinations.
  • Prepare exam room and imaging equipment to conduct radiologic examinations in accordance with infections disease, sterilization, and patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Assume responsibility for the safety of the patient during the radiologic examination.
  • Review patient medical history and supporting clinical information.
  • Ensure that the radiologic examination order is complete, contains relevant information, and meets the standard of “medical necessity.”
  • Evaluate any contraindications, insufficient patient preparation, and the patient’s inability or unwillingness to tolerate the examination and associated procedures.
  • Communicate with the patient in a manner appropriate to the patient’s ability to understand.
  • Use proper patient positioning tools, devices, equipment adjustment, and ergonomically correct scanning techniques to ensure patient comfort and safety, and to prevent compromised data acquisition and musculoskeletal injury to the technologist.
  • Conduct patient clinical assessment and perform the diagnostic medical radiologic examination ordered by the supervising physician in accordance with professional and facility protocols.
  • Apply independent, professional, ethical judgment, and critical thinking to safely perform diagnostic radiologic procedures.
  • Apply independent judgment during the radiologic examination to ensure that appropriate anatomical, pathological, and clinical conditions are accurately captured in the examination images.
  • Except as authorized by written facility policies and procedures, refer specific diagnostic, treatment or prognosis questions to the appropriate physician or healthcare professional.
  • As necessary, acquire additional radiologic imaging to facilitate optimum diagnostic results for the interpreting physician.
  • Identify and document any limitations to the radiologic examination.
  • Review examination images, synthesize examination results, and prepare the preliminary findings.
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA) and facility policies, and procedures.
  • Adhere to accepted professional and ethical standards.
  • Provide patient services consistent with the Scope of Practice and Clinical Standards for the Radiologic Technologist.
  • Perform quality control procedures to ensure that the radiologic equipment operates at optimal levels.
  • Exercise responsibility to ensure that the radiologic equipment is functioning accurately.
  • Document any incidental findings that might impact patient safety or patient care and provide that information to the interpreting physician.
  • Operate the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Ensure that the radiologic examination results meet the facility standards for Quality Assurance before findings are released for interpretation.
  • Carry out Quality Assurance protocols and Quality Improvement measures within the facility.
  • Maintains confidentiality in all health information matters.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers, administrators, and members of the health care team.
  • Foster a collaborative atmosphere with other members of the healthcare team.
  • Assist with the education and training of radiologic students and physician residents.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  QUALIFICATIONS/LICENSURE
  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • 1 year experience performing CT & X-Ray procedures preferred
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technicians (ARRT)
  • Subspecialty CT Certified required
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning (e.g., continuing medical education in the specialty area(s) performed, higher education, research, staff training, etc.).
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer skills and software programs used for documentation activities and report generation.
  • BLS

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the hospital and is responsible for all financial and accounting functions in accordance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations. The CFO provides leadership, financial oversight, and direction to ensure the overall financial well-being of the hospital. The CFO is an integral member of the senior leadership team and has overall responsibility for accounting and financial statements, budget process, risk management, accounts payable, revenue cycle including HIM, patient access and patient financial services, reimbursement, managed care contracting, Medicare cost report, materials management, information systems, and the year-end audit. This is a “hands on” CFO role with limited staff and it is expected that the CFO will have direct hands-on involvement with the accounting and revenue cycle teams. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. Experience in or a very strong understanding of all the areas of responsibility described above.
  • CPA or master's degree is preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as CFO of a rural or small community hospital; Controller experience at a larger hospital could be considered.
  • Strong audit and accounting technical skills strongly preferred.

Position Summary
  • Overall accountability for providing leadership, direction, and administration of financial activities, including accounting, financial systems and control, compliance, financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Participates in and/or leads various work around service lines, revenue integrity, discipline teams, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides leadership in the achievement of financial and operational performance objectives and expectations including revenue growth, operational margin targets, effective expense management and overall efficiency measures. This includes the use of analytical processes to assure the achievement of initiatives and the implementation of performance improvement opportunities in the areas of operational performance, clinical excellence, patient satisfaction and employee engagement.
  • Provides leadership in evaluation and assessment of growth and operational initiatives as well as the evaluation, development and implementation of strategic programs and service lines, capital acquisition (including campus planning and future expansion) and technological investment. This includes the evaluation and assessment on future facility operations to ensure strong financial and operating outcomes.
  • Supports the achievement of performance goals, defining accountabilities and providing advancement opportunities for future leaders. This includes the role of mentor for finance staff as well as increasing financial understanding throughout the facility in order to provide a framework for sound business decisions.

  • Conducts and/or participates in a variety of staff and committee meetings; serves on task forces and commissions as assigned including but not limited to Medical Staff, Board of Trustees, Quality Improvement, Finance Committee, Compliance Committee, Utilization Review. Represents assigned areas to other departments and external agencies to coordinate activities, identify issues, resolve problems and share information.
  • Functions well with the co-relationship of managing a hospital and relating to HealthTechS3. Keeps the HealthTechS3 team aware of all key financial developments. Fulfills accountability for the hospital by submitting to HealthTechS3 all appropriate reports and functions as a cooperating member of a great team. Examines insurance policies to ascertain that hospital assets are properly insured against loss and that the hospital’s liability coverage meets the management contract requirements
  • Assures compliance with required financial reports including the cost report, annual audits, special audits, reporting on federal and state grant programs, required USDA loan reporting, federal not for profit tax return, annual public meeting for budget review and related reports.

Supervisory Responsibilities Under general direction given by the CEO, the Chief Financial Officer has administrative responsibility for overall management of the assigned departments including Patient Financial Services, health information management (HIM), materials management (MM), information technology (IT), payroll, accounts payable, and the senior accountant. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
