JOB DETAILS
We’re seeking an experienced Remote Epic Systems Payment Poster for a permanent opportunity to support the revenue cycle operations at a hospital in Pinedale, WY. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, with proven expertise in Epic Systems and a strong grasp of hospital payment posting workflows. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely posting of payments, adjustments, and denials across multiple payers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately post payments, adjustments, and denials into Epic from EOBs, EFTs, and lockbox files
- Reconcile daily deposits and ensure alignment with bank statements and remittance advice
- Identify and escalate payment discrepancies, underpayments, and missing remits
- Maintain detailed documentation of posting activity and communicate trends to leadership
- Collaborate with billing and collections teams to support clean claim resolution
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy benchmarks with minimal supervision
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of hospital payment posting experience, with direct Epic system use
- MUST HAVE EPIC SYSTEMS EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED.
- Strong understanding of payer remittance formats, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
- Ability to work independently and manage high-volume posting with speed and precision
- Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
